Holly Skaar, Idaho State Police/Commercial Vehicle Safety. Ms. Skaar is a Research Analyst, Sr. for Idaho State Police/Commercial Vehicle Safety Section. She has been with Idaho State Police for the past 34 years. What started as a part-time data entry position, has worked its way into a career with a commitment to commercial vehicle safety and enforcement. Her main focus is with commercial vehicle data management, data quality and IT systems. Ms. Skaar has belonged to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) for over 25 years. Currently Ms. Skaar is serving her 8th year as the Chair of the CVSA Information Systems Committee. The CVSA Information System Committee works with FMCSA, the Commercial Vehicle Industry and the 55 States/Territories advancing the MCSAP data quality standards, business rules and IT initiatives / problems. She is a voting member for the Idaho TRCC Committee and is serving her 3rd term on the FMCSA Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee (MCSAC). Ms. Skaar earned her BA in Communication from Boise State University.
