• Identifying and Changing Behaviors - Truck Driver Injuries (PDF, 261K) This is a paper that was presented at the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) PDC in 2012. Some of the data is older and inflation would make the numbers of no actual value but the injury types and how injuries per 1,000 loads were used may be of interest.
• ASSE 2018 Using Fleet Safety Programs to Impact Crash Frequency and Severity (PDF, 623K) This presentation has an example of a telematics success story and shows before and after aggressive event frequency before and after management interventions.
• National School Transportation Association (PDF, 1470K) This presentation has information on school transportation losses (Liberty Mutual insured operations) and control strategies for school losses.
• ASSE 2017 Crash Frequency Benchmarks and Behavioral Approaches (PDF, 187K) This paper has examples of how a variety of types of vehicles will have a different crash frequency based on the state, vehicle type and industry. There is also discussion on behavioral approaches to changing driver behavior.
