Small Transit Bus (STB)

A vehicle 25 to 29 feet in length (some definitions use under 30 feet) carrying 22 to 30 passengers. The primary power source is diesel fuel or gasoline, but some are utilizing hybrid technology to save on fuel costs while lessening fuel emissions. Small transit buses generally serve more densely populated areas within small urban communities.
