The extent to which facilities, including transit vehicles, are barrier-free and can be used by people who have disabilities, including people who use wheelchairs. Accessibility includes not only how transit vehicles can be accessed, but how the transit service as a whole is accessed (e.g., access to schedules, dispatch, reservations and other service information).
