| Title: | Comparative Analysis of the United States and Canada Carrier Safety Ratings |
Abstract
This project includes an in-depth comparison of the United States Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's commercial vehicle company Compliance Review (CR) process and resulting ratings with the Canadian Facility Audit process and the resulting ratings.
The main objective of this project is to analyze the U.S. rating data in the context of the Canadian rating system, and identify all differences. A secondary objective will be to provide options/suggestions for policy makers resulting in compliance review and compliance audit rating reciprocity between the U.S. and Canada.
