Abstract

In conjunction with toXcel, the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), and subject matter experts in American Sign Language linguistics and audiology, this project studied the safety of deaf and hard of hearing commercial vehicle drivers and identified and refined procedures that helped train these drivers safely and effectively.
