Title: | Comparison of Traffic Simulation Models with HCM 2000 Methodology Using Various Traffic Levels under Pretimed Signal Control |
End Date: | January 2007 |
Status: | Completed |
This study compared CORSIM, SimTraffic, and VISSIM to each other, as well as the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) 2000 methodology using various levels of traffic congestion under pre-timed signalized control. Three comparison scenarios were conducted, which involved using the default parameters, similar (matching) parameters, and calibration parameters.
