Lt. Don Plowman
Commercial Enforcement MCSAP Commander
Nevada DPS-Highway Patrol

Lieutenant Plowman is a 20 year member of the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol Division. Upon graduation from the NHP Academy in 2001, he served as a Trooper holding various assignments including Graveyard Traffic Enforcement Operations, Governor's Dignitary Protection Detail and Courts/Warrants Service Operations. He served in those capacities while assigned to both the Las Vegas and Reno duty stations.

In 2007, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was assigned to Commercial Enforcement Operations, duty station Elko. As a Sergeant he served primarily as a Commercial Enforcement Operations supervisor, but also served as a Traffic Enforcement Operations supervisor as well. He served in those capacities while assigned to the Elko, Reno and Fernley duty stations.

In 2018, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to NHP Headquarters where he currently serves as the statewide MCSAP Commercial Commander for the Highway Patrol Division.
