Dr. Eva Shipp is Research Scientist and Lead of the Crash Analytics Team at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). She is an injury epidemiologist with expertise in occupational health and safety. During the last twenty years, she has worked on a variety of transportation and worker health and safety projects. Her primary research interests include truck safety, employer-provided safety programs, developing novel and integrative data-driven approaches to traffic safety, and injury surveillance in working populations. At present, she is the Principal Investigator of two FMCSA projects aimed at understanding rural crashes and developing educational materials.
