Kathryn Holt
Senior Court Research Analyst
National Center for State Courts

Kathryn Holt is a Senior Court Research Analyst at the National Center for State Courts. Since joining the NCSC in 2011, her projects have focused on the use of quantitative and qualitative data to inform and improve court administration. She is a staff member of the Courts Statistics Project and State Court Organization, collecting and standardizing trial court data from all states to paint a national picture of the work of the state courts. She works closely with the individual states to assist in the development of data standards and definitions to improve performance measurement and management. Her expertise in governance evaluations also informs her work investigating conservatorship exploitation and the adjudication of commercial driving license cases. Ms. Holt holds an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the College of William & Mary and a B.A. in Psychology from Wittenberg University.
