Margaret Allen
Director of National Programs
National Center for State Courts

Margaret R. Allen is the Director of National Programs for the Institute for Court Management at the National Center for State Courts. As Director, she oversees all aspects of ICM courses offered in Williamsburg, online, and around the United States.

Ms. Allen is a frequent presenter. Nationally, she has planned and presented multiple sessions, including plenary and breakout sessions at conferences of the National Association of State Judicial Educators and the National Association for Court Management. In addition to her duties related to ICM courses, she is currently working with a team of stakeholders to develop a curriculum for judges and court staff to increase public safety through raised awareness of issues related to cases involving commercial drivers. Ms. Allen holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and completed graduate coursework at Ashland University's College of Education. In 2015, she successfully completed coursework and a thesis to become a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management, the most prestigious credential for court professionals.
