DOTSC IT Section
Internships
IT interns work on actual projects for the NDDOT using workstations equipped with up-to-date design software used by NDDOT professionals. Through tutoring and mentoring, students learn design practices and procedures before plan production.
DOTSC students are expected to work between 12 and 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer, students are expected to work between 30 and 40 hours per week. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Students are allowed to work flexible hours to accommodate class schedules. Interns are evaluated each semester to determine whether employment will be continued.
When opportunities arise for undergraduate or graduate internships, the positions are sent to the NDSU Computer Science listserv with instruction on how to apply.
