Jason Mayfield
Mayfield of Fargo is a senior at North Dakota State University, majoring in civil engineering. Mayfield is a graduate of the Des Lacs-Burlington High School in north-central North Dakota. At NDSU, he is active in the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Circle K International service organization.
As a freshman he received an NDSU Presidential Scholarship, one of NDSU's most prestigious scholarships. He has been named to the NDSU Dean's List list five times in recognition of his academic excellence. He has worked as an intern with the Ward County, ND, Highway Department and with the City of Maplewood in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. After graduation he hopes to become an engineer in training in transportation and eventually own an engineering consulting firm.
