High-ResGabrielle Schmoll
Gabrielle Schmoll is a senior in civil engineering from Northfield, MN. She has been active in the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers serving as vice president of membership. Schmoll has volunteered with Luv of Dog Rescue, Ronald McDonald House, and Feed My Starving Children. She was named Apex Engineering Group Scholar and has been awarded the Vernon and Ruth Solien Endowment Scholarship, the NDSU Presidential Scholarship, and the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship. She has been named to the NDSU Dean's list four times. Schmoll is an engineering intern with Houston Engineering and is an Academic Collegiate Enhancement tutor at NDSU. Because her experience at Houston Engineering inspired an interest in structural engineering, after graduation, Schmoll plans to work in the structural engineering field and design bridges, floodwalls, and other infrastructure projects at a private consulting firm. She is eager to employ her skills and knowledge in developing projects that will have a positive impact on communities in North Dakota and Minnesota.
