Kyle Stich, a junior in civil engineering from Fargo, is a member of the NDSU College of Engineering Ambassadors. He conducts campus tours and answers questions from prospective students and their parents. He is also a member of Bison Catholic Bible studies and has volunteered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Stich has been named to the Dean's list twice and has also received the John and Denae Horn Scholarship, which recognizes scholastic achievement and encourages leader development in civil engineering. He has worked as an engineering inspector for the City of Fargo and is a server for the Beer and Fish Company restaurant in Fargo. Following graduation, Stich plans to work with a civil engineering firm, earn his professional engineering license, and eventually become a senior design engineer. He hopes to help develop more efficient ways to complete transportation infrastructure projects while improving safety and working conditions for construction workers.
