High-ResLaura Cameron
Laura Cameron is a senior in civil engineering from Stanchfield, MN. At NDSU she has been active in the Fargo Jet Center Flying Club, the Society of Women Engineers, Chi Alpha Campus Ministry, and the Martial Arts and Boxing Club. She has been named to the NDSU Dean's List three times.
Cameron is a graduate of Cambridge-Isanti High School in Cambridge, MN, where she served as captain of the girls' swim team and was a lifeguard and water safety instructor. She is also a third-generation private pilot.
Cameron has completed internships with Medtronic, Bobcat, and Mead & Hunt, a national, full-service architectural and engineering firm. She plans to pursue a career in airport planning and design, where she can combine her love for aviation and her passion for civil engineering in work to update and improve the experiences of passengers and pilots alike.
