Abagail Turner is a senior in civil engineering from Jackson, MN. She has been active in NDSU Softball and Blue Key Honor Society. As a member of the Engineering Ambassadors, Turner has served as vice president and on the homecoming show financial committee and the holiday party planning committee. Turner was also president of Weibel Residence Hall Government. She has been named to the NDSU Dean's List twice and was named to the Summit League All Academic honor roll in the spring of 2020.
She volunteers with the Dorothy Day Food Pantry twice each month and is a Salvation Army bell ringer.
Turner is a graduate of Jackson County Central High School and worked with the Jackson County Highway Department. She has been an intern with the Clay County Highway Department in Minnesota and with Journey Group, a full-service construction company based in Sioux Falls.
Turner plans to pursue a career as a professional engineer working in the water resources structures sector of civil engineering. Her goal is to oversee the construction process of bridges and flood-control projects, where she can help reduce flooding in high-risk areas of communities.
