Rachel Vogl will receive the Transportation Engineering Scholarship which recognizes academic achievement and promotes the education of transportation students at NDSU. Funding for two $1,500 scholarships is provided by the Mountain-Plains Consortium through the University Transportation Centers program of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Vogl is a senior in civil engineering from Becker, MN. She is also earning a minor in natural resource management. She is the president of the Engineering Ambassadors and previously served as vice president of that group. She is the membership chair for student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is also involved with our NDSU Steel Bridge Team. Vogl was named to the Dean's List for all six of her semesters at NDSU. After graduation, she will be working for Kimley-Horn with their development services group in the Twin Cities area. Her parents are Dale and Jennifer Vogl of Becker.
