Renner is a senior in civil engineering from Audubon, MN. He is the vice president of the NDSU student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
He is also involved in the Circle-K service club, serving as the Minnesota-Dakotas District Lieutenant Governor. Before transferring to NDSU, Renner was a student at Itasca Community College where he was named Itasca Community College Student of the Year and Engineering Student of the Year. He was also named Circle K International Distinguished Club President while president of the Circle K chapter at Itasca Community College.
Renner has been named to the dean's list twice. He is a student design assistant with UGPTI's Department of Transportation Support Center where he has developed an interest in infrastructure rehabilitation and asset management. After graduation he would like to work for an engineering consulting firm or a large construction company.
