Staff BioIhsan Ullah Khan, Ph.D. Road Safety Research Fellow Email: ihsan.khan@ndsu.edu ORCID: 0000-0002-0116-9284 Dr. Ihsan holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, and a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Transportation and Logistics from North Dakota State University, where his research was driven by Vision Zero—focused on eliminating road fatalities and injuries. He has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, and has been invited as a speaker at prestigious conferences such as the Transportation Research Board, ATSIP Traffic Records Forum, and Lifesavers. With over seven years of expertise in road safety, transportation planning, statistical modeling, and traffic operations, Dr. Ihsan has conducted numerous impactful studies. His notable work includes the Tribal reservations crash data utilization, the commercial motor vehicle rural crash prevention dashboard, and research on crash hotspot analysis, traffic enforcement, and injury severity factors.
