Her current research includes identifying high-risk alcohol impaired drivers, assessing treatment program for impaired drivers and assessing driving education among novice teen drivers in North Dakota through machine learning approaches and statistics analyses. She received her BS in Agricultural Business and Management from University of Minnesota Crookston, MS in Applied Statistics from North Dakota State University (NDSU), and Ph.D. in Transportation and Logistics from North Dakota State University (NDSU). Her dissertation focuses on identifying high-risk alcohol impaired drivers through machine learning approaches and logistic regression analyses. Zhou worked for three years in industry with a range of roles in sales, marketing, operation, logistics and product development. In addition, she has had the opportunity to work with other graduate students as a research assistant and teach courses at NDSU as a teaching assistant. Research Interests
