Staff Bio

Lee serves as contract faculty to present the Transit I – Foundations and Transit II – Pillars courses for SURCOM. He also serves as co-presenter for a course on Transportation Planning Process for the National Transit Institute at Rutgers, as Senior Business Transit Advisor to AECOM, and as an independent contractor for First Transit. He formerly served as adjunct faculty at the University of Hartford's.

Lee has spent his entire 50-year career in public transportation, including 22 years as General Manager of CTtransit where he oversaw the State-owned bus systems serving the Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford urbanized areas. He also served for almost 20 years as Area Vice President for First Transit, providing corporate liaison and technical assistance for First Transit managed locations throughout New England.
