Mark Wolter Hired as Truck Industry LiaisonPosted: Aug 14, 2023
The project is aimed at improving truck safety through a multifaceted effort that engages both local law enforcement and local truck operators through public education and outreach efforts. Mr. Wolter has extensive experience in commercial trucking and as an instructor at the North Dakota State College of Science. He was certified by the North American Transportation Management Institute as a "Director of Safety" and served as a safety director for trucking companies for more than 25 years. Mr. Wolter also served as president of the FM Transportation Club of Fargo Moorhead for 12 years and chair of the Vision Zero Heavy Truck Initiative. He received the Vision Zero Infrastructure Program of the Year in 2020. He was President of the North Dakota Motor Carrier Association from 2015 to 2017 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NDSU-UGPTI in 2021. |
