MPC Researcher Named Program Director of Engineering Education Initiative at CSUPosted: Nov 8, 2022
"The goal of the initiative is to act on CSU's land-grant mission by providing exceptional levels of access to excellent undergraduate engineering programs that meet the unique needs of a diverse population of undergraduates while leveraging the strengths of an R1 research university," said Professor Karan Venayagamoorthy, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, in an announcement to college faculty and staff. "I look forward to working with people across the college to reimagine and update our undergraduate experience," Atadero said. In addition to her research in structural engineering, Atadero has conducted extensive research in engineering education, diversity, and inclusion. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her teaching, research, and service activities, including the Faculty Institute for Inclusive Excellence Diversity Impact Award from CSU in 2022. |
