Road Scholar Requirements Reached Across the State

Posted: Apr 19, 2022

Congratulations James Condit (with Bottineau County Highway Department): you and over 50 ND local highway department employees across the state achieved Road Scholar Level 1, 2, or 3 requirements in 2021! These employees, from across the state have been attending classes and workshops offered by NDLTAP and TLN (Transportation Learning Network) to increase their knowledge and enhance their job skills that are essential to efficient and effective local road maintenance and management.

Now, let's talk about you; James, you have been with the Bottineau County Highway Department for 10 years. You've taken classes on signing, culvert installation, and work zone safety just to name a few. Your co-workers refer to you as the "Sander King, Sign Guy, and jack of all trades." Ritch Gimbel - Bottineau County Road Superintendent says that you can always be counted on when called to go the extra mile. Ritch appreciates your positive attitude. Keep up the good work James!!
