UGPTI is Offering ScholarshipsPosted: Mar 19, 2008 The Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute is offering the Abrahamson Scholarship and the Transportation Engineering Scholarship. These scholarships are given out each year to recognize academic achievement and promote the education of transportation students at NDSU. Applicants must be a junior or senior for the 2008-09 school year, must have an interest in transportation and must demonstrate academic excellence. Two students will be selected to receive each scholarship worth $1,500 per academic year. Applications for the Abrahamson Scholarship are available at www.mountain-plains.org/education/abraham/ or in Morrill 217 and Putnam 102A. Applications for the Transportation Engineering Scholarship are available in CIE 201 or at www.mountain-plains.org/education/eng/. Funding for the scholarships is provided by the Mountain-Plains Consortium, a program of the institute through the University Transportation Centers Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
