MPC MPC's Romero Is Co-author of AAPT Best Paper Award

A paper co-authored by MPC collaborator Pedro Romero at the University of Utah was awarded the Walter J. Emmons Award for best paper presented at the 2019 annual meeting of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists. The paper, "Balanced Mix Design Sensitivity to Production Tolerance Limits and Binder Source," was written by Walaa Mogawer and Alexander Austerman from the University of Massachusetts; consultant Keven Stuart; Fujie Zhou from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute; and Romero an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Utah.
