Andersen is New Research Support Specialist

Jaclyn Andersen joined UGPTI May 1 as a research support specialist with the UGPTI's Rural Transportation Safety and Security Center. She will be involved in a wide range of rural traffic safety research related to driver behavior and agricultural data collection to support local industry decision-making. Andersen will complete her B.S. in behavioral statistics at NDSU this month. Her degree has a focus on psychology and statistics. Before joining UGPTI she managed one of NDSU's psychology labs and was an undergraduate research assistant. She was also an intern in the Neuropsychology and Inpatient Behavioral Health departments at Sanford Health.

Andersen is originally from Faribault, MN, and earned an associate of arts degree from the Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Before coming to NDSU she worked for several years in the food and beverage and events management industries.
