New Research Projects Underway at MPC Universities

The Mountain-Plains Consortium has approved more than 20 research projects at its seven collaborating universities so far in 2020. Projects include:
- Effect of Deicing Agents and Environmental Conditions on Performance of Asphalt Pavements in Cold Regions at South Dakota State University
- Visible and Thermal Imaging in a Deep-Learning Approach to Robust Automated Pothole Detection and Highway Maintenance Prioritization at Colorado State University
- Public Perception of the Collection and Use of Connected Vehicle Data at Utah state University
- Learning from the Travel Experiences of Persons with Disabilities: Investigating Navigation Challenges Posed by Infrastructure at the University of Colorado Denver
- Impact of Regulatory Hybrid Changeable Message Sign on Traffic Safety under Different Freeway Geometric Designs at the University of Utah
- Validation of Smartphone Alertmeter Fatigue Assessment Device for Transportation Workers at the University of Denver
