Kim Earns Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award

Yail (Jimmy) Kim, University of Colorado Denver professor of civil engineering, received the 2018 Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award. The award recognizes exemplary work at the university and recipients are chosen by a selection committee comprising previous award winners. Kim has been on the faculty of the University of Colorado Denver since 2012. His research interests include the development of sustainable structural systems using advanced materials and corresponding analysis.
