Walsh County Road Day a Success

Walsh County Road Day - August 1, 2018. WOW!!! Sharon Lipsh and her crew set the stage for a perfect day with well over 300 Walsh County residents attending the road crew's celebration. Rich Sanders, NACE President, was on hand to share words of praise for the crew's good deeds. The Walsh Commissioners were proud to show off the power of their crew. The road crew was easy to spot—team orange. Their backhoe rodeo contest complimented the information booths and equipment showcase. Tom Sorel, NDDOT Director, and Major Tom Iverson, ND Highway Patrol, were on hand to present Park River the Vision Zero Community Designation - the first in the state!! Incredible event, incredible people, incredible day. Special thanks to NDLTAP team lead for the project - Sandy Baisch. Well done!
