Motor-Grader Operator Training in Stutsman and Ward Counties

Powerful learning! Denise Brown coordinated the motor-grader operator training in Stutsman and Ward counties this week. Denise kicked off the Jamestown session with a safety talk — a safety vest review that helped grow their team's safety culture. Gary Steiner was our instructor in Jamestown, focusing on superelevation and roadway section efforts. Russ Klimper made his debut as instructor in Minot, training new operators and enhancing the skills of seasoned operators. The advanced training format with small groups creates a great learning environment, essentially a one-on-one training. Our VOX headsets allow us to easily convey learning targets to the operators while they are operating the motor graders. Special thanks to NDIRF for supplying the headsets. Great job Denise, Gary and Russ!
