Nadim Wehbe, John M. Hanson Professor and head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at South Dakota State University, was named the 2017 Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering Outstanding Researcher. Wehbe was recognized at the Celebration of Faculty Excellence banquet held at SDSU on Feb 21, 2017. This is the second time Wehbe received the Outstanding Researcher award, the first time being in 2010. Dr. Wehbe is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, and the Structural Engineering Institute. He serves as MPC program director at SDSU.
