SDSU Master's Student Wins Top Honors in Poster Contest

South Dakota State University master's student Peng Dai won the first place student poster award at the Eastern South Dakota Water Conference held in November in Brookings. Dai's poster title was "Escherichia Coli Removal from Stormwater in Steel Chip Filters." His advisor is Dr. Guanghui Hua, assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at SDSU. The research presented in the poster was based on an MPC project entitled "Development of Mixed Media Filtration for Stormwater Runoff Treatment."
