Denver Tolliver, Jill Hough and Jody Baldock represented UGPTI at the Council of University Transportation Centers Annual Summer Meeting June 19-21 in Buffalo, NY. The three-day event featured speakers, presentations, panels, and guided discussions covering a broad range of topics related to transportation. The meeting serves as a venue to exchange information and enhance collaboration between university transportation centers, and among centers, the US DOT, and other government agencies.
Hough concluded her term as president of CUTC at the meeting. Tolliver served on a panel that discussed UTC operations. UGPTI is the lead institution of the Mountain-Plains Consortium, the regional University Transportation Center for USDOT region 8. UGPTI via its Small Urban and Rural Transit Center are partners with the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University and the Northwest Tribal Technical Assistance Program at Eastern Washington University in the Small Urban, Rural, and Tribal Center on Mobility, a Tier I University Transportation Center. The Western Transportation Institute leads that effort. University Transportation Centers are competitively selected and funded by the USDOT.
